I had a little fun last week on the job. I was working with another trim carp on a custom home building mantles and columns. The pic shows the final stages of the columns being routed with 3/4" flutes. As I was finishing I noticed a few of the exterior trim guys watching me. When I turned around they were hanging their heads and shuffling their feet muttering "I knew I should have been a finish carpenter". When I asked why they stated in unison " the tools are so kool!"

You just got to love it.  ;D

Sweet, but it must be a dustless version of the 1400 because I don't see the hose attached. ;D

OK you got me, I just finished recycling the dust bag with a razor knife and bulldog clips and forgot to replace the hose prior to the shot!

recycling the dust bags is daft

BUT

you only know it after youve tried it once

i did ONCE, never again

Nice job Chuck. I need to re-do the columns in front of my house. I may do a variation of what you have there. Thanks. (Now I need a Festool router, shuxs ;D)
