I bought a post-WWII scroll saw about 18 months ago and slowly but surely rebuilt it. I came up with the idea to make my toddler grand-nephews pull toys for Christmas using my new/old scroll saw. While I was in the planning and development stage, we bought a Shaper Origin at work and I was tasked with learning how to use it and what router bits we could make for it. So, instead of using 80 year old technology I ended up using something completely different. [big grin]
I borrowed the wobble wheel design from a video by Sam Angelo, but I didn't like Sam's body, so I searched coloring book pages for a duck I liked. When I found one, I scanned it with Trace, scaled and modified it with Studio and cut it with the Origin.
