Nice fence...a little low for either security or privacy but at least it will keep the neighbors dog out of your yard.  I was thinking that a porch and some stairs to that front doorway might be an important next project.

It's mainly too keep the dogs out. Were all show people on the yard so everyone is related and there are huge electric gates on the outside with a 14ft perimeter wall. Going too box it in underneath then a large deck area

This is a cool project that starts making this little bit of space your own.  A few suggestions...  You might have to do something about the end of your fenceline, since a loose dog on the prowl would probably be able to get onto your lot by going down your neighbor's parking area and around the last post.  Also, you could score points with your neighbors and avoid fence grafitti by putting up a nice piece of plywood covered with blackboard paint on their side and supplying a bucket of chalk for the kid(s) who live there.  Or at least offering.  And plants, man, you need some plants.

All good points there but there is solutions lol there will be adjoining fence at the back at a larger height and the neighbours kid is only 1 . Just a baby lol. Plants is a defo. Working progress though. Will keep everyone updated

nice job, not sure it ads any privicy tho

have you pinned them all on with the 2nd fix gun?

only thing i would have done diffrent is to get some end grain preserver to treat the cuts, the laths look verry close to the floor do they soak water up when it rains?

a matching fence/skirt around the chalet bottom would finish it off nicely.....

its feels more private lol. the botton has a bitumen type product on the end grain  and the whole fence has been stained now. yeah 2nd fix with stainless steel nails, they are all solid in place but wouldnt do it on a deck,
yeah boxing it in is my next job.
any ideas guys ?

well it's a new year lol and the winter past soi decided too get my finger out, some updated pictures

very nice,
i like the car jack idea.
It's not shown on the pictures but I had a laser level on the fence at the back and I was using a piece of timber with a level mark on it, definitely needed the jack it was far too heavy lol and it's good for lifting it up by the millimetre

Well I thought you might like too see how I boxed in my chalet, Done this in about 3 weeks just the usual few hours when I got home from work.
It's called mathios stone it's from Ireland ( not real stone, more like a concrete type mould and really light. First of all I built a 3x2 frame round the whole chalet then panelled it in marine ply with a damp proof course underneath the frame, building paper over the ply then a metal mesh then rendered the whole face for a foundation for the stone too be stuck too.

what you think guys, only regret I have is not having it off the ground by about 15mm but it doesn't actually touch the chalet it's 25 mm gap all round the top just behind the plastic cladding and that 20 mm out past the face of the stone so their is still plenty ventilation and it is open at the back.
