Was considering the recent OTT for my Domino and necessity encouraged me to do with what I had laying around. I needed to find an easier and more accurate way to locate dominos on cabinet spreaders like in the below base.
The spreader (is what I call them) have two dominos that align them to the sides and only one allows the edge for a reference.
So I used an incra t-trac plus and fashioned a stop which reference to one edge.
Used woodpeck stops to reference the domino in the inner cut.
Worked very well.
Here's a side by side with the make-shift first version and my final version. The final was made using an incra t-track plus for more rigidity and so festool clamps can clamp via the additional channel from the bottom. Stop in the final is a piece of 3/16-inch aluminum angle.
Works well and cost about $40.
