So with the arrival of my MFT3 today and the fact the other half just let me have my OF1400 xmas present early  8) I decided to do a look back at the Festool i have bought this year (and 2 other tools just because they came in systainers  ;D).

I was introduced to Festool in 2014 with a CXS and shortly after i picked up an OF1010 as my first "proper router". After deciding woodwork was a hobby i really enjoyed and wanted to pursue properly I decided to build up my Festool armoury this year while i had the money as i am due to move in 2016 and the other half keeps mentioning kids  [eek] [eek] [eek]

Given i live in a flat and do not have direct house to garden access, Festool has made getting out and doing a project a lot easier and faster thanks to the systainers and the overall system focused nature at the core of everything they do.

I won't list everything down but suffices to say everything bought was bought as the full kit version.

That's a very nice starter package. You'll be able to make some nice things with that.

Now that I reflect back on 2015 due to this post, I suddenly realise with a bit of sadness  [crying] this is the first year since 2008 I haven't added a single Festool to the stable.

But on the other hand, it's not that sad, because the reason I haven't bought any, is that I've already got plenty.  [big grin]

First job to keep the Mrs happy, is to fit a new handle on that door!

that entire door is being replaced - we bought new cheapo doors from Wicks when we moved in and that one is then only one un finished. Bowed badly pretty soon after delivery and then had a massive knot exactly where the door handle should be
