SWMBO has 'tools' that make most Festool tools seem bargain priced.  But without them I would not have a prayer of being able to justify many of my purchases these last 4 years! [big grin] 8) [big grin] 8) [big grin]

She has a nice setup there :)

What does it mean if I bought the industrial sewing machine for myself, but allow my wife to use it? My sewing machine and table are old and ugly, but work perfectly.

Fortunately my wife can't tell if I add a tool to the piles already accumulated, and she really doesn't care as she knows it will either save us money or make us money. She always gets the years total at tax time and just goes...write offs!

Thank you, the sewing center was, at the time, the largest piece I'd made.  It would have been much more difficult without my green tools!

I'd say if you bought the sewing machine and allowed her to use it you have a keeper!  I know enough about sewing that my wife won't do much for me.  She sends me to her room to do it myself!  To her great credit she knows what a combination wrench is.  Not so much for wood working tools though.

LOL. She had a lot of fun with that quilt.

She'll politely take ALL 'requests'; and treat them as such in my experience. [wink]

Jeff,
my wife was impressed with the Doggie Quilt and asks if there is a Yorkie Quilt in the works?  [wink]
Blessed is the couple sho each have an absorbing interest for their work and/or  pastime!

[member=61691]TSO_Products[/member] I am indeed lucky!  My wife and I also share a passion - cycling!  We completed the Kentucky Century Challenge for the third straight year this year, riding all 5 Century Rides on the schedule.  Next year we are planning to ride Registers Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) with 20,000 to 30,000 of our closest friends!

I'm thinking if there is another doggie quilt in the works it will feature Molly, our Golden Doodle!

Life is Good!

My wife has a couple of Bernina machines, ones a CAD embroidery contraption that makes my tools look cheap.
At the time she bought that one she was making costumes for the local museums open days so the staff couldbe wearing period looking costume for whatever event they had on.
Her having those machines meant justification was a simpler process for me.

Plus mines all for work anyway, it brings money in.
