In honor of my first ever Festool I built it a new custom miter saw station in my garage shop complete with a “hint” of Festool green. It’s 8’ on the left side and 3’ on the right with a Woodhaven aluminum fence.

Now I need to build shallow sliding drawers to hold all of the new Systainers I’m compelled to buy now that I’ve mainlined the green.

Thats pretty cool, I like it.  I just got my Kapex a couple days ago, along with the stand and wings.  Wasn't sure I would keep the extras but set it up yesterday just to see.  It is really a nice system.  I really wish I had the room to do what you did though.  Very clean looking set up.  Congrats.

Thank you Rick. I too received the Kapex UG Stand but I haven’t even opened the box. I do plan to use it when I’m offsite. I am a retired DIY’er so that won’t be often but it’ll be nice when the need arises.

Very nice, and dedicated  [big grin]
If you received the wings also, you may flip the legs on the wings up and use them on a tabletop.
You would need the Kapex on the same height as well though.

Thank you Festita. I thought about using the Kapex UG in that configuration but decided against it, mostly because I had this two-level bench configuration in mind before I realized what the UG was capable of.

Birdhunter: that’s quality Festool dust extraction.

That’s a really nice cabinet you made.  Like the color choices and the glass doors on the overhead cabinets!

Welcome to FOG!

Very nice set up. Love the paint scheme too. You can add some of the blue Sustained to match! Welcome to the forum and the slippery slope.
