My first festool sander

Hello all
Looking at ordering my first festool sander.
Pretty sure i want to go with the ETS EC 150/3,
i noticed for about £100 more you can get it with the suction hose with plug it cable and cover.
The info i read on this hose all says its for sanding but would it be ok for say a domino or ts 55 saw etc also?

The hose it pretty thin, it tapers from 22 mm to 27 mm. This means it will not have much space for bigger chips like you make with a saw, router and planer. Sanding is really where it is it suited best, and not optimal for other applications.

Maybe better just getting the stand alone sander.
I looked for a 27mm standard anti static plug it hose but it seems they are discontinued now?
