Yesterday I made my first Festool purchase. I had done a lot of research. Since I use a wheelchair (100% disabled veteran) I must be very selective in which tools I purchase; not everything is suitable for use from a seated position. I like the idea of a system that can grow and that has superior quality. Yes, the price is scary but so are cheap tools operated over your lap!
I what I got on my first Festool purchase was:
I don't know who was happier: The salesman or me. (Probably me since I didn't have to be at work!)
I would like to purchase another track to allow the ripping of sheeted materials. Initially I thought I would simply buy another 55" Guide Rail FS 1400. But since I have the router I also need to purchase the Guide Stop to use it with the rail. I thought that perhaps a 32mm Hole Drilling Guide Rail would allow for more flexibility (I plan to make cabinets and bookshelves among other projects.)
Or would it make more sense to get the LR 32 Guide Plate instead of the Guide Stop?
