So I’m moving to my first production pice I guess it’s the natural evolution,  let me say this is a prototype and this is not a finished piece, first of all the steel will be altered to look more natural and wood legs and doors will be added as well, these pieces will all be interchangeable with the exception of the tops as far as lengths  but they will all be solid wood approximately two inches thick,

also  It will interchangeable  on the front to a semi clear panel with the ability to have lights pre installed  three standard tops will be available I’m thinking oak, ash, and cedar of course you will be able to order custom tops like a cracked resin top for example. Any advice, criticism will be gladly accepted thanks for your input.

Interesting.
To get it right: you use the steel chassis as the carrying frame to 'laminate' with wood, or is the steel an option in addition to some different woods for the corpus?

Right now it’s a corpus  but there is steel frame work across the bottom and side to side to attach the      drawers, wood legs will bolt on to the steel

Maybe I'm the oddball here, but I actually really like the prototype piece as is!
I think that's really cool with the raw steel and the rustic looking wood top.
You could offer different finish options for the steel as well - powdercoated black, polished, etc.

I don't know why you'd cover up cool stuff with wood panels.
