My Homemade Parallel Guides

Labover27,

Congratulations on a very nicely designed parallel cutting jig.  Do you have to remove the jig from the Guide Rail in order for a TS 55 or TS 75 saw to pass by on the Guide Rail?

Also, if you make the stop blocks with a greater amount of front-to-back dimension projecting toward the Guide Rail, then you can cut strips off narrower sheet stock if you want to without having to make the connection board narrower which would reduce stiffness of your jig.  That projection can be made long enough to fit under that Guide Rail if you choose, much like the lower part of a router's edge guide can slide underneath the base of the router on which it is mounted.

I have not noticed any issues.  It is however very close when using 3/4 ply  The saw barely clears the black nuts.  Good catch
