Well, I am not a professional. Not yet. I mostly do projects for my friends and myself. Like this one...

I like the video! That must have been a lot of work to do. The cabinet turned out really well as well.

To tell you the truth, it was not. It took about 3 weeks to completion. But most of that was waiting for plastic to dry and color to dry to keep going on with assembly, and waiting for blum hardware to arrive. I enjoyed it. Not too big, not too small. Very precise.

Photos coming. The shop/garage is in a mess now. I am too lazy to go downstairs to clean it because of Lu. Over the weekend I will clean it and post some photos. It is not my CNC machine. I can use anytime I want, but it is not mine.

Thank you for that. It was a long struggle for her. Over one year. She was 2,5 year old when she left us. She was second great dane that we had in family. They are beautiful dogs. We miss her so much.

First you kerf 18mm mdf board. Basically you do a lot of cuts 16 mm in depth. Then you cut angles on the door. Then you put it in a form and apply fiberglass to it. Next day apply fiberglass or, in my case, isolation foam to the rest of the door. Your best friend is patience in job of applying about 3-4 coats of car putty. And then you put spray body filler. All in all 5-6 hours of work in 3-4 days.

sorry i missed the part about your dog
im sorry to hear that. 2and a half. what a shame.
i lost my dog (not mine but i loved her anyway) a year ago. it still hurts sometimes.

i like that construction method. i might try it some day. it would use a lot of filler thow.

was it a car body filler type you used. like a two part isopon etc.

did you get any spring back

Wouldnt it be easier and less hassle to laminate 4mm mdf up?
Don't know. I think that 4 mm mdf is too thick for this. Because, when we did the straight lines with 15 mm depth of cut we had problems with bending. So we got to 16 mm. No problem, and no visible lines from front side also.
