My latest Humidor finished. ( Now with a detailed description of the build)

Bill,

That just makes you a better man then me, cause I screw up daily.......

and never mention it. Right now not included.

Pay no attention to the above comment, it was a error in judgment.

For the record I never make mistakes every goldarn day.

The thing about Boo-Boos though......

Hiding them is the true art.

I was told once " The sign of a good carpenter in not how good the work is but how well he hides his mistakes" At this point, I've been practicing to be a good carpenter. ;D

Well, I'm going to rout it out again >:( >:( >:( >:(I decided that rather than have that become a focal point, I'll just re do the veneer one more time :'( I weighed the pros and cons. It doesn't have a deadline, it would detract from the whole piece, it bothers the %^&* out of me. Here's a little preview of my fork up. If you notice, the Maple veneer at the top right horizontal corner, I sanded through a tiny bit. Thats whats bugging the hell out of me. The center is already re-done. >:( :-X :-\ :( :'(

More flippin gremlins in my shop. It's time to bring in a priest. This was a wooden hinge I was making until my router blew it to pieces. The box and the lid are done. I just need to line the inside with Cedar and put the hinges on then 4 or 5 more coats of Tung oil and I'll post this darn thing. :-\

Here's what it's supposed to look like.

When I post the build of this project, I'll elaborate on why these things happened, what can be done to prevent them and how I re-did them for the final results. I just hope with all this effort, at least one of you build one for yourself or one of your loved ones. ;D They make for a nice jewelry box too. I'll be here if you need help. ;)
