I still need to finish up a few details and finish it but here is a progress picture.

dominoes for the posts to the panels. The top caps will be applied with dominoes as well to the posts and panels
 
Very nice! I just finished a platform bed for someone. Let's just say that project made my head hurt a little afterwards. They wanted a certain amount of space underneath for storage, drawers in the bedframe for storage and don't go over a certain overall height. [emoji15][emoji856] When I delivered it the were surprised at how shallow the drawers were, like 5 inches. Maybe I over engineered it, but I don't want a phone call saying it fell apart.
The frame you built looks great, craftsman style, I assume qtr sawn white oak? What size dominos did you use to attach the frame rails to the headboard?

I wish I could afford the white oak - it's poplar. Believe or not I only used 6's.
