For those of you who didn't see last night's fight I'm about to spoil the outcome so consider this your last chance to back out of the topic so you can enjoy a repeat of the fight untainted. IMO it was a great night for boxing as one of it's most talked about fighters , and for good, reason had a "controversial" victory last night over Victor Ortiz. The reason why I think it was a great night for boxing is because it got people so fired up and has ignighted arguments between maywether and Pacman fans stirring up excitement for the one fight we all NEED to see!

I'll say this, as a boxing fan I'm a fan of both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Maywether, you'd have to be blind to not acknowledge the huge talent both fighters possess. It's been a long time since we've seen two boxers of this calibre in the same weight division. Problem is, there's this stupid shenanigans going on between both fight camps that prevented the fight of the decade from going down last year and there's some uncertainty as to wether or not it ever will, and that's a crying shame. If, however, this dream fight were to go down my pick is Floyd for the victory.

IMO Floyd Maywether is one of the all time great boxers. His defense is almost flawless and his punches and counter punches are extremely fast and fluid the likes of which I've never seen. Pacman is a tough strong bastard who is also very technical but has shown himself open to counter punches, I've also seen him get frustrated in the ring. True he's pulled out victorious more times than not, but Floyd is so annoying I feel it's gonna get the better of Manny. Ortiz was no slouch, i would have given him the first round, but floyd was ramping it up round after round and Ortiz lost his cool, Floyd capitalized. Last night's fight wasn't the greatest in history but it's sure left me salivating for the fight we gotta see!
