My newest project all oak home office cabinet build out document work in progres

greg, I know and thought the same thing!  I just found out last year that they were brothers.  I just got Kreg's whole set up, the router table, stand, lift, and the beaded face frame jig and set up....  going be doing a dining room wainscot with the beaded face frame jig they just came out with.

will start on that project in the next few weeks as soon as I finish my oak home office project which should be done within 2 weeks... I keep getting small little jobs that I have to do, and can pick up a few extra bucks to buy more tools, !  that I do not need but want.  you know how it is!

glad I could help

What router motor did you install? I got the PC 7518 replacement unit (saved 50 bucks) and the Kreg branded Woorpecker router lift with the Woodpecker aluminum insert rings set.  I really like the aluminum rings vs the plastic one, a little more expensive but...

i installed the 7518 also great router.  yep the aluminum rings are better, but also have the plastic that they are using now.  will be using the beaded faceframe set up in about 2 weeks or so. which I am looking forward to doing that project

The beaded face frame jig is very nice & simple to use.
I just built a kitchen & used it for the doors.

That is almost fluting over load.

I guess I am just not a big fan of fluted trim.

My tastes aside, it looks nice.

I am just finishing up a built in that has bead board for the back. [tongue]

It is an office at a guys house that does computer stuff. Below the tv he is mounting his 4 monitors !  That you can run the mouse from one side of the monitor all the across the four monitors!

Golden oak. From cambell.  It is so easy to put on it is a wipe on lacquer and dries in 15 minutes

i just added 12 or so more pictures so check them out.  since it got dark early today and I worked late today, sunday !,  so I was able to get a better picture showing the custom window trim out I did.  i even think it is awesome !

Kreg:
Looks great! The window treatment really pops at night.
I have to sympathize though, working in the dark these days really blows.
Thanks for posting all the pics.

just added the doors to the large storage  cabinet.  just have to make several drawers and some small detail stuff then finished.

FINALLY FINISHED THIS PROJECT !    [thumbs up]

had to remake the bench cabinet that originally had 3 drawers and make it to a 2 drawer... so the 2 left drawers on the desk could be opeaned...  all he has to do now it get the granite counter top and then I can go back and take finallys.

but I posted the final pictures of what I did no the picassa album...

and here are a few of the latest I had finished, like adding the side panel to the large stoarge cabinet and so the panels matched the doors. and making several more latteral file drawers. etc.

so thanks for following this project... off to make 3 more built-in jobs I have lined up for tvs and display.. will post when done

Hey Kreg,

Nice work.

One question - in image 4038, or 101 of 103 on Picassa, I see (and like) how you worked the cabinet to deal with the window.  How are you  planning on dealing with the countertop so that it avoids the window as well?  Will the countertop follow that same inset you made with the filler piece?

Thanks,
Corey
