My Syslite is Awesome!

This is one of those tools that has been an awesome addition to my arsenal.  I was stuccoing around my back door tonight after a repair and I was scrambling to get it applied so that I could prime and paint this weekend.  I was not fast enough before the sun went down, but the Syslite came to the rescue.  Was able to finish the job and inspect the finish and this light provided plenty of light.  The battery also lasted a long time on its internal charge.  So happy I have it...in the last couple of months I have used it for various projects as well as to do some light painting for night photography.  Love this thing!

Its on my list of things to buy.

That is after I got pizzed at my Makita light that came with my kit.

Kept going out on me while I was under a sink.

I launched it like the sputnik after about 6-10X's of it going out on me and me having to bang it on the cabinet bottom to get it to light up again.

So Im in the market for a new light.

Im also looking hard at the C12 drill kit to…

It isn't inexpensive but certainly seems to provide good utility and value. My Milwaukee M18 lights are very useful and the syslight will be a great complement, especially in situations like under sinks. I'm sort of a LED flashlight junkie so I'm pretty sure I'll own one of these soon. (I could be a charter member of Flashlights Anonymous: Hi, my name is Paul and I haven't bought a flashlight in 33 days)

Steve demo'd it in the Fesstool class I took a month or so ago.

He diidnt mention that it was being discontinued.

I bought a Syslite yesterday - very impressive for such a compact size.  The even distribution of light is excellent.
Paul - I may join your group.
With regard to the C12 availability - I have read elsewhere the earlier version TDK maybe discontinued.  It would be good if this could be clarified as I would like to buy one.
