I'm looking to put together a gun systainer and want some advice.
My goal is to put 2 senco fusion guns in one place, and need input
on boxes. What size?
I would like the charger and maybe some nails In it also.
I'm thinking a sortainer,but don't know if what I want will work.
I may have to use a systainer instead, but what's the thinking?
Thanks,
Chuck

I have two Fusion guns in a sys 4 with one charger and the batteries. It still takes a little shuffling to get them in. I have sortainers, I think the fusion guns are too big for the drawers, but I haven't tried it.

Don't worry, Semenza is foaming at the mouth  [wink]to help you. He was wondering when you were gonna bring it up? He's got a real sweet set up that I'm gonna put into practice one day. No heavy compressor either. I would like to see a finish/brad for door trim or a brad/pin for kitchens. Right now I just hook mine to the Toolbox. If you added a Toolbox you could carry nails, caulk, nail filler, rag, oil, shims, level, etc and now you got a whole system going. One trip, lots of stuff, good luck, Eric

Do you have a camera in my house?  [unsure]

Large drawer interior measurements --- 13 11/16"  x 11 1/8"  x  3 1/8".  Do a mock up with a cardboard box or four pieces of wood to see if you can make a good arrangement.

That's the info I need
I have seen the c02 systainer here, but I have the fusion gun,
and want to get one more.
I keep forgetting that the systainer connect real easy,so maybe I
will go with 2.That way I can bring the nails,Collins clamps, glue, and
whatever I think I'll need to do the job.One trip from the truck is
what I am trying for.
Keep em coming,
Chuck

Is that a measurement of the sortainer or systainer?
Thanks,
Chuck

Inside measurement of the large size drawer in the Sortainers. If you havn't seen / used one in person ... the Lg drawer will hold a surprising amount of stuff. It is actually about 1/4" taller  BUT you have to leave a bit of space at the top to avoid hitting the little prongs inside the unit. The 3 1/8" I gave is the usable height.

Seth

Cool thanks,I have not seen one in person, but that was my first thought.
A 4 drawer sortainer with the nails and stuff in the small ones, and
gun in the bottom.
I will mock one up and see what I can do
Thanks again,
Chuck

So I emptied a drawer and the F-18 brad Fusion nailer just fits, you would have to lose the belt hook though. The angled 15 gauge Fusion I have doesn't fit.

Will the 15 angled Fusion fit in a Sys - I ?

Nope, looks like sys3 with batteries and a charger. I remember now why I went ahead with a sys4 for both.

Thanks,I'm trying to fit some none festool tools in a box,
and don't know what one will work.

I think the systainer/sortainer system is one of festools best ideas, and am putting everything I can in them.

If I can be of help with any of that let me know. I have all T-Loc sizes except a IV.  If you need a specific other measurement I can check for you.  I am not planning to do actual diagrams for T-Locs any time soon though.

Seth

Hi

What tools are you trying to fit in the sys? I know many of us here got non festools in systainers so maybe someone already got "your" tools already in a sys. And can give you advice or even provide a pic.

:)
