Hello all,

I'm looking to fill in some small brad nail holes in my crown molding that is finished with a pigmented Ken Aqua Plus White. My thought was to perhaps mix some leftover Kem Aqua Plus White with a wood putty for a perfect match.

My question is, what type or brand wood putty or filler would be the best to use? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I started using Bondo years ago, it doesn't shrink like most other fillers and it's ready to paint in 20 minutes.

If the crown molding is already finished it’ll be very tough to fill the holes without seeing a notice sheen difference, even if you get the color spot on.

ColorPutty might work. I’d also recommend looking at the Mohawk website. They have a wide range of products that might work.
