NAINA, but in Oz

Bob, Timmy C, etc. now you see what WE are expecting from each of you. Should not be hard for fine young men such as yourselve to not only meet but exceed. WE ARE AMERICANS darn it. Are you going to let these down under boys kick your butts???  ;) ;D :o ::) Not that any of us would have a vested interest in y'all having a similar setup.  ;D :D ;) :) :o ::) Fred

Hi,

The US dealers know that we would all just show up every day, stand around drooling, and drive away all the paying customers >:(    :)

You sure did Seth. The SysPort on the left holds my ZOBO kit.

Except as is so readily seen on this board, WE are the paying customers. Aside from them having to wipe off a little drool now and again I feel they would be that much ahead.  :D Fred

Hmm, not bad despite the fact the door above the coffee machine needs adjusting, i'll let it go though this time :D. BTW how much are flights to OZ these days anyway?
;D

You spotted it. I would love to lay claim to this 'joinery' but I cannot. The goose who built and installed the kitchen also saw it bit to silicon down the sink to the bench top (instead of using the appropriate under bench clamps) and proceed to use his silicon soiled rag to wipe everything down. So those not so straight cupboard doors also have swipes of silicon on them I am having trouble getting off. Cleaning ideas anyone?

Anyway, if anyone is ir comes over to Oz, drop me a line for a visit.

Anthony,
That was my way of telling you how amazing your shop is, great job... in actual fact, its an overdose! :D

Thanks Mirko.

That was my way of telling you I have not got around to adjusting the doors as yet  :D But the cabinet guy did wipe silicone sealant over the doors and bench top, and I still a bit puzzled about getting it off.

I am actually quite proud of the workshop, so I really appreciate you guys also liking it. I have a few fun things in planning/preparation for it's future.  ;D

Acetone maybe?

And don't you upsiders get any funny ideas about the spare Zobo set, it's totally spoken for.  ;D

Anthony!!!

Dude, you're killin' me!!!

WOW!!!  That is absolutely stunning!  And the tool's aren't bad either.  ;D  It looks like I am going to need a bigger boat, and some more attorneys to write an iron clad liability waiver.

Mirko, no problem.  It was established a while back that Eli just fell over the edge.  Just go there, but bring a ladder to get back.  being an old hod carrier, i would be glad to design one to carry a whole lot f systainers back with you.

Maybe I should start a Festool Travel Agency, with tours of Anthony's shop. Not exactly duty free, but we can arrange to ship your purchase home for you!  :D

Eli--

And you've got the contacts in the States to recommend a source for step-up transformers?

Phenomenal, Anthony!!!  And beautiful.  Dan C. should award the photos at least 4 thumbs up!  Perfect for Festool University, Southern Campus.  I've been to several Festool dealers in USA and one allegedly major dealer (based on internet postings) in Berlin, and ALL of them taken together wouldn't rate a dusty corner filled with 30 seconds of scraps from your show, demo and go room.  I would love to be able to spend a couple of days playing there.  (Then my bank account would suffer a major hit.)

What plans do you have for using that room other than individual customer evaluation of specific tools of interest?  What do you plan for newcomers - those not familiar with Festool or woodworking / carpentry at all?

Thanks Dave - I'm all a blushing now.  :-[

Well I have a few things in plan for both individuals and groups. If any of you guys or gals want to visit my Survey Portal, I am taking input on what customers would like to do at our workshop, and how it is best done to suit their needs. Have a look at this page and feel free to participate in my survey/s. I know most of you are not in Oz, but I expect your opinions equally valid.

Anthony, I took both of your surveys. Being here in the States I am not sure I helped you much but did enjoy taking them.  ;D Fred

Please send that right over. I don't really think I need it but it looks so nice 8)

How about ROTEX with 24gr Saphire?  :o    Or maybe 40gr Cristal, after all you do want something left of the door.  BTW you do have those items laying about  , right?  ::)    :)

Matthew, I keep pressing the "GO DOWN" button at the upper left, but every time I open my eyes, I'm still in North America.  WHAT GIVES?????
