Need help with 0F1010 accessories

I am about to start festools with the MFT/3 / TS 55 combo and the OF 1010/ CT-22 vacuum combo. The extra's I have so far is the clamp kit, extra blade kit along with an extra 55" rail. I will be starting with garage cabinets and will be working mostly with 3/4 plywood making alot of dados and rabbit cuts.

now to my question....What accessories do I need to pick up with my 1010 to allow me to make the dados and rabbit cuts using the rail ? I am interested in getting the best dust control also.

You will need a guide to attach your router to the guide rail so you can control location of the dados.

Steven mentioned the guide rail adapter, it comes with the router, in the US version. You might want to look into metric sized router bits, it makes cutting dados easier because almost all plywood is a metric thickness. Festool makes some very nice bits but you do have other choices in metric bits if you spend a little time looking.     I use the micro-adjuster when I'm cutting dadoes.  I try to adjust my cutter as close to the chip guard as possible.  The micro-adjuster makes that a little easier.    C Hughes

Like Mr. Hughes said, the micro adjuster, or Router Guide Stop Fine Adjuster for OF 1010, FE-FS/OF, is the tool that brings the OF 1010 and its accessories up to the equivalent usage of the later Festool routers.

It works with the Edge Guide for OF 1010, SA-OF 1010 and the Guide Rail Stop for OF 1010.

It isn't part of the OF 1010 EQ - Plunge Router package when you buy it.
