I want to finish the edge of my 4" slab. It has bark on about half of it and a few rocks that are loose but the tree has grown around. You wouldn't be able to get them out without cutting, but you can wiggle them. My question is how do I clean it and what and how do I apply a finish to keep everything in tact. The top and bottom I was going to fill the cracks with inlace then aply 4-5 coats of laquer. Any input would be great I have not done a project like this before
