I am trying to wrap up my kitchen project before thanksgiving and am racking my brain on how to finish a few things. I have a plan for the toe kick molding but for the life of me I can't think how to finish above the doors and a light rail molding.

Any ideas?  My best thought so far has been a square molding in each place with maybe the ogee profile from my 3 price crown. I am not good at picking this stuff!!

Cheers. Bryan.

I do not understand the question(s).

Light rail moulding as in the light rail at the bottom of the upper cabinets to hide the under cabinet lights?

You feel there is to much space between the doors and first piece of trim?

This is similar to your entablature but it does not go to the ceiling. I used 1x with the door cope profile to cap the "columns".

Thanks Tom that helps...

And yes, it was two separate pieces of trim that I was referring to. One above the doors that you addressed and the other on the bottom of the uppers to finish it off (and to hide the under cab lighting).

I think I want to use the same profile in both cases, or at least close to it.

Nice job on the bath cabinet, that profile looks good.

Cheers. Bryan.

If you set the bottom of the cabinet even with the interior top edge of the bottom rail you should have 1" between the bottom of the lower rail and the bottom of the lower cabinet box member (they appear to be face frame cabinets in the picture.)???

If there is no space on the bottom because they are euro cabs, add a piece (3/4" x 1") to the bottoms. I don't see a profile on the door (cope or edge).
