I am very slowly building my own kitchen, and doing the 32mm thing for the first time.  I drilled out all my holes for the drawer slides, shelves, and doors using the LR 32 system.  I bought some Blumotion hinges, and a bunch of these 5mm screws to fit in all the nice holes I drilled.  They worked great for the drawer slides.  I went to start putting some hinge plates on the cabinet sides and discovered that the screws don't fit. through the holes in the hinges!  What am I doing wrong here and what do I need to do to fix this?

It looks like you have the mounting plates that are designed for traditional wood screws.  I went through this recently and found that Blum has several mounting plates specifically designed for Euro screws.  I wound up buying the plates with pre-mounted Euro screws.  They were a little less than a dollar each from  wwhardware.com.  Blum P/N is B173L810 (for the 0mm offset plate).  Solved my problem and they are great for adding vertical door adjustment.

Yep. Most of the Blum hinges come in a choice of mounting screw, pin, expansion types.

Thanks everyone, especially to Dick for the part number.  I will probably go that route instead of drilling these out.  I can always keep them for use somewhere else.
