New Domino Cutter Damaged

I just bought a df500 and assortment of domino's to get the extra bits before the price change.  Tonight i went to use the domino and pulled out the new bits a grabbed the 8mm bit and went to thread it on and it completely bottomed out.  So I looked at the treads and they were stripped out.  Has anyone had this issue before with a brand new cutter?  Definitely 100% not user error.  I have switch between 5mm and 6mm with no issues and havent over tightened.

Sorry to hear about the issue with the bit. 
Are you having the same problem with any of the other bits you just purchased?
Will the Domino still accept the bits you had before?

Its just with the 8mm.  All the other bits work great.
