New Festool product! SYS-LUNCH

Just popped into my local Festool dealer and bought a Systainer Mini/3 or whatever the name is (larger version of Mini Systainer). It is the perfect size for my lunch box. I considered a SYS1 but too big.

That was my first time in a dealer, I have always bought online.

Dangerous territory, I seriously wanted to buy everything. Saw an MFT/3 and MW 1000 neither of which I have ever seen in the flesh. Both great and tempting, but I have thinking MFT and custom sys ports.

Great job! If FT added washable foam insulation and some partition or cup holder to their SYS Mini I think it'll sell well as lunch box for Festool fans.

I have some foam insulation I could use, but i think polystyrene would be better as you say

That's quite amusing, made me giggle!

I used the case today, and my wife is already complaining about how much space the fridge the toolbox is taking. As lunch boxes go, its very good. There is no fear of me losing it, being such a prized possession!

And why not rig up a Maxi-Systainer with a battery-operated heater and call it a Sys-Pizza?

Use some Kaizen foam cut out one for a sandwich, another for a drink, one to fit a bag of chips

We just got some stock in of the MINIs this past week and I was playing with the MINI-sys I as a lunch box as well.  It its perhaps just a little small, but fit my lunch the other day.  The Soylent press a bit on the lid.

I'm coming in to this a little late, but I was wondering if this Soylent Green would fit a bit better in the mini-sys.  At least it's the right color!
