New Festool promotion?

Hi

I spoke to a dealer yesterday and he said there was a promotion coming very soon. He indicated it was battery related.

Anyone have any info on this yet?

Yes all 15/18V batteries now are 5.2 Ah and the 10.8V for the CXS/TXS is 2.6 Ah.
Furthermore only one new machine: TXS it's a T-model brother of the CXS.
Look at Festool UK for the "We will rock you" action.

Just looked through that brochure. I'm liking the fact that batteries and chargers purchased separately are now covered by the All inclusive 3yr warranty.  [smile]

My dealer has said with the launch of the 5.2 ah that festool will be issuing vouchers whereby when you buy a tool with the 5.2 ah batteries you'll receive a third battery free or something along those lines.

I don't currently have an ETA. Sorry. Typically, we get products 6-12 months after their introduction in European markets.

Greg, nothing regarding any potential upcoming promotions has been communicated. Should there be a promotion, we will, as always, make sure we communicate it broadly for all.

Do you know if the newer batteries will work on the older drills? I just bought a T15 and want to make sure I don't buy early. The 5.2 would be great!!!!

They should be the same battery type with larger capacity so, it will work.
