The Festool guide rail has evolved - the new Sys-Snap rail quickly and accurately connects to create custom length tracks for your TS 55/75 track saw -- no tools required. Available in 480mm lengths (~19"), just click and cut to make perfect cuts. Available now for pre-order!

Are there "holey" versions too for use with the LR 32 kit?

Agreed! I did notice that it's length is base-32mm, so it's entirely possible that we might see that in the future.

480mm ÷ 32mm = 15

This is the perfect length to make short, quick cuts easy. I usually use the 32" rail for that but 19" will be even better.

We laugh at this but it would be a great product if it really worked.

Who's laughing? I ordered 21 sections to cut some 9,600MM sheets I am having delivered today.

Are you planning to bring in curved rails to cut arcs? Or its NAINA as usual  >:( ?
With SYS-SNAP style you could form full circles!

I doubt we'll see that. Just the way the spline on the rail interfaces with the bottom of the saw, the saw cannot accept a curved spline. Just use your jigsaw.  [wink]

But---but ---it's a circular saw.......

Ok... this IS a little April Fools fun. Hope you took pause, scratched your head for a minute, and then had a chuckle. I see you guys clicking the link, so I got some of you!!! You know who you are!!! Ha!  [tongue]

[member=4105]tjbnwi[/member], I can't find it with my quick Google search, but there was a circ saw blade that used to be marketed for making curved cuts that was cupped, if I remember correctly. It's been about 10 years ago since I last saw it. Edit - actually maybe this is it -http://arcusblade.com/

I was going to post that a guy could load approx 56 sections of the SYS-Snap in a SYS-Maxi to give him a 88' rail for doing bridge trestle work.

I also remember that cupped circ saw blade and I don't think it was even 10 years ago.  [eek]

I edited my post prior to anyone seeing it (I believe). I did not look at the links until after I posted, there I saw the request was not to revel the "joke". From the beginning (that reminds me of a song...) my guess was it was an April Fools joke.

I have seen that blade or one similar to it. My attempt at humor was lost in the bits and bytes..

Same concept for joining on my Prefect Edge set (these are real).View attachment 1
