On the German website are the latest 2013 models.
Some are already noticed on the FOG but these are the mains:
- EHL 65 EQ (still missing the lock button for the power knob?)
- SYS-TB 2
- SYS-Mini
- SYS-Midi 3
- Centrotec 2013
- TCL 3 charger (with cord wrap around it)
- all C/T/TI-drills with new charger TCL 3 and in SYS 2

Stop making all of us over here in in NAINA land jealous.

Does that charger have a built in cord wrap?  If so, that's really cool.

Ken

I think most of these products will make it over here. The centrotec kit was very popular.

so there is a version of each drill version now that comes in a sys2 with some additional trays if i understand correctly, i would like to see how that looks.
And what is special about that centrotec set, looks the same as the normal one, but €200 cheaper?

kinda disappointing that there is nothing really new, im interested in the mini Tlocs though but not at the official Festool price!

The Centrotec 2010 set contains 98 pieces at €445 and €338 at Gerschwitz.
The 2013 set only has 68 pieces and costs €249.
The difference is 30 pieces (which?) at €196/89.

It's missing the countersink/ drill bits, depth stop drill bits, etc. i.e all the expensive special bits in the 2010 kit.

How do I get my grubby little paws on that centrotec set?

Okay send me $600 and i will get you one. 98pcs. one

$600 for the 98 piece? I thought those were about $425, when they were available? Anyway, I would be interested in the cheaper 2013 version. At the current price plus VAT/Ship.

I never said it was a good deal.  Lots of people keep saying they want one.  Just thought i would put it out there at a price i would actually do it for.

Hi there,

Ill do it for cost if anyone likes, I got to festool retailers regularly so to grab a set or two and ship it is not a problem. not looking to make money just cover the cost of the set and shipping

I might be interested. Are you a dealer? PM me with details and price. Appreciate the effort if you go ahead with it.

I was at the European roadshow today and they had all the new stuff, and were also revealing the new services.
Basically in Europe they are now giving you a full 3 year warranty, including parts that wear or are damaged in use, and most of all free maintenance.
This works for everything that is still under warranty, basically within the 3 year period you can bring in your tools and they will service them, replace motor brushes bearings etc all for free!
What is also new is that spare parts are now available 10 years i think after a model was stopped, and if they don't have the part anymore you will get the new version of that tool free.

here is the centrotec 2013, it's a different inlay with spare drills. They told me it was destined at painters etc who don't need the specific woodworking bits.

here is the new drill systainer, ALL new drills except CXS will come in this systainer from now on they told me, it's a sys 2 with a couple trays and a smaller new charger
[attachthumb=#]

new mini Tloc

[attachthumb=#]

[attachthumb=#]

new EHL planer, besides the plug it and soft grips they changed a few details like the shape of the rear end that now allows you to see the end of the sole.
[attachthumb=#]

The roadshow truck, it was in italy last month, Belgium this month, and next month is UK i think.
there was free drinks and fries, and most of all, all participants automatically enter a contest where one name will be drawn, and that person wins every new Festool tool that comes out free for life!!

THanks! Seems like alot of wood bit redundancy in that set no? Is that the Imperial wood bit set on top?

Love the drill systainer and the minis are neat too. Question is (probably for Festool) is whether US chargers will fit into that insert. I have two sys 1s and LOVE those little removable containers. Might be one of my favorite Festool items quite honestly.

Thanks for the pics !

I think my 2010 centrotec set will take some value ! [tongue]

The 2013 version is more suitable and will delight CXS users...

Quick questions....

That Sys2 looks pretty deep.  Is there a 2nd layer in there or something?  And it looks like only room for one tool.  What are you gaining in the sys2 that you didn't have in the sys1?  is it just the colored bins?  Can you now fit a syslite in there as well?
