this is great! thanks. what kind of camera are you using? i've been saving for a full frame canon 6d or 5dmrk 2-4. my brother is in the film industry in nyc and i pick up a lot of camera tech lust from him.

It depends on the type of shoot/event I'm doing.  I shoot Canon and use any of the three:  EOS 7D, 5D mkII, and the 5D mkIII.  Remember the "glass" (lens) is more important than the body!

Canon sent us a copy of the 6D and I wasn't too impressed with it.  If you want to go full frame, a used/refurbished 5D mkII or 5D mkIII is the way to go.

Cheers,
Eric

Here's a couple more of my clutter:

I feel so much better now about the complete mess my "shop" is in.
Great photos, I love the DOFF that a fast lens and full frame gives you.

Eric my pictures would probably do nothing for you.  I have very select few that I like enough to show and usually only to friends.

I'm pretty sure that my shop will make everyones look immaculate.  I am in the process of rearranging an over crowded garage/shop.

Systainers are kinda like tribbles from Star Trek

My wife would probably go with "like rabbits" ...

Admittedly 8 are minis and 12 are tool boxes, but a couple more too purchases will see 100.

Take care Eric, they're addictive. I think you're more frugal with funds if it's your work, but as a hobby it can dangerous  [eek]

Wow great pics there.  Hope you don't mind me asking but what gear (body, lens etc) do you use to take those pictures?

Steve, thank you, the images were captured using Canon 5D MK II and 5D MK III, the lenses used were the Canon 35 f/1.4L and the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L II.

Cheers,
Eric

I'm sorry to hear about your problem ("my Systainers are multiplying!"). Unfortunately systainers came from the same planet as tribbles. Although they aren't born pregnant, they exert some sort of quantum force that abhors any open space where a systainer could possible go.

At least that's the story I told my wife ... and I'm sticking to it!
