My name is Erik and I like to share a little with the group that I have leared so much from. I recently moved to California for good weather and a new Job. The house my family and I are living in has a room built on the side of the house, no heat or air but never less an area to call mine. The wife gave me the go ahead to buy some new tools for we have a lot of fixing up to do on the house . I have been working in professional cabinet shops for about the past 10 years so I have tried a lot of brands tools, but I new what I wanted the moment I got the Ok (All you guys know the thrill we get to use a tool that really works. Over the past 3 months I have purchased the following.
? Circular Saw TS 55 EQ, Great Buy
? Jigsaw TRION PS 300 EQ, Great Buy
? Router OF 1400 EQ, Great Buy
? I had the 5" dual mode sander RO 125, but found it very hard to control. I exchanged it for the 6" rand. orb. sander ETS 150/3, Wow what a sander
? Dust Extractor CT 22 HEPA, Great Buy
? Domino Joiner DF 500 Q, Great Buy but currently on loan to my work.
? Multifunction table MFT 800, Great Buy
? Ridged Contractor Table Saw from HD $400, incredible buy for a real nice table saw with steel extensions.
So a little more on my new workshop, apparently the room originally was used for a little woodworking for there was already an old bench and a miter saw. After a few projects I new the next project was to create a true working area I will enjoy working in as much as I enjoy working with Festool.
