ordered a kapex ug set and an of1010 at the weekend. cant wait for them to hurry up and be delivered. the kapex is gonna be quite the upgrade from my current dewalt dw701.

thought it was a canny good deal like. there was a axminster tool shop opening up near me. they were offering 10% off anything on opening weekend.

i got them both for £1402

i had been going to save up but when i heard of that offer i went for it earlier than i really wanted too but never mind.

now i just need a 36mm hose set and thatll be me all bought up for a fair while i think. by far my biggest purchase tool wise.

Good price, you saved £125 on the best price from N&B. You will love it.

How long do you have to wait for it to be delivered?

atleast a week unfortunately. its gotta get from festool to axminster then from them to me.

i should add it was the of1010 set with the 800 guide rail aswell.

i thought i couldnt go wrong at the price like.

you people on that island talk weird english; glad us americans figured out the language  [tongue]
From an idiot who thought the Kapex laser was broken when he first used it - you have to press the button on the top of the Kapex to turn the laser ON
Besides being a great saw to use, the lack of weight and mobility are fantastic; that angle finder thing well ... stupid, in the way but comes in handy once in a while
Have fun

i do have a habit of adding like onto the end of sentences for some reason. same as when i talk i suppose.

Sounds like a Geordie to me, the most likeable accent in the uk  ;)

I have a kapex & ug set, couldn't do without it now but I kept the 27mm hose on my midi & just made a zero clearance insert for the base, does me fine.

indeed i am. well kind of. im from south shields. 13 miles or so from newcastle. so locally that makes me a sandancer. but i suppose to outsiders id be a geordie.

looking forward to the kapex arriving. be a fair few questions i have to ask people
