New logo for Walk on Wood

Wayne- thanks for the thoughtful feedback.  The designer that did the walking feet and I are having some trouble communicating.. I asked for the house to be removed and "Hardwood Floors" to be added... And got this:

My fear with the feet is that it is too whimsical.  As others have said, I will never have brand recognition like Pepsi or McDonalds, but would like a unique logo that includes "Hardwood Floors" (or "Flooring)

That last design looks like a boat to me? Don't really care for it at all.

Since you didn't get what you wanted, if you wish try sending/showing them what I sent. Designers like to design - sometimes to their detriment. Explain that you want it  to be basically stylized text with the 'walking k' as the only unique graphic element.

Clear, Easily understood, Simple, Elegant, and Tasteful.

I didn't like the boat at either.. That was his 3rd try, still didn't remove the house and still didn't add in the words Hardwood Floors.  I don't think he/she is a native English speaker.  Again, thanks for the feedback

My wife is a graphic designer. She agrees with Shane 100%. Me too.

Most of your clients can read.
If your logo says Walk on Wood that's enough.
You don't have to show them a picture of the idea too.
That's redundant.

Besides, all that extra stuff is too small and visually busy.

I actually think that you should have another choice. Perhaps a boot "footprint" with the W's as the tread. If this is for logo and print, you could even have it as wood grain.

Just a suggestion.

Welcome to the forum! I am so looking forward to this new logo. I have had a hard time sleeping and even eating for the past eleven years waiting to see the new strong logo design.
