I think this is a stripped down set, and hence probably cheaper than the full set I've got. (not checked prices)

However

There is some sort of newly designed guide and / or used with a bearing mounted cutter, which somehow helps with trimming of the protruding edging on the workpiece. Need to see it, and if any good it may be available as a spare part so i could use it with my set.

I saw some link to the edgebander here, and there was a photo showing the new base, but can't seem to find it

So the CONTURO page shows a possible different base (or new attachment), but the MFK 700 page itself shows no such change. Intriguing...

It's called MFK 700 EQ/B-Plus.
I think they have also added an electronic Brake, that's where the B comes from.
The same as with other machines which have the B in the title.

The only difference is 3 parts added to the vertical base on the MFK 700/B.  These parts are:

Slideway lining 10010205
Brake (a plastic spring loaded bearing guide) 10015642
Raised-head screws M4 x 16. 219075.

Found these on the Australian festool spare parts.

You can upgrade the older MFK 700EQ for just $AUD76.14.
