New MFT 3 Table Height

Is there any way to adjust the height of the old MFT to the new MFT 3?

Put some blocks under it.

First,

[welcome] to the forum.

If you are looking for a ready made option to increase the height - sorry.

Other members have made assorted blocks for the legs  of the older model to sit in / on.

Thanks for the response.  As thorough as Festool is, I am surprised that they would change the height and not make a way to mate them with the old 1080.  Oh well.

I propped up my MFT/3 to match my old table saw height. I glued together blocks of plywood, put some sand paper on one side, then on the other used a Forstner bit (1.5 or maybe more) to cut holes to accomodate the feet of the MFT. Even though I was carful to drill all four at the same depth, a little leveling was required and I did this by throwing in some large washers in the hole of whichever leg needed to be lifted a bit. You can kind of see it in this old pic. Boy, have I bought a lot of tools since then!

P.S. That Rigid was long ago banished to the garage. Only a Festool vac breathes the dust of my Festools now!

There have been quite a few posts here on rolling MFT cabinets and carts.
Try hitting the Search tab and type MFT cabinet or MFT cart.
You could build a rolling cart tall enough to be MFT3 height when you put the MFT on top of it.
Lots of room for tools underneath too.

A guy I know took a 4x4, cut 4 5"-6" pieces off and drilled holes in the center of each piece to fit a leg, then cut an angle off  the bottom of each 4x4 stump/stub.  Not certain if he got the resultant high perfect with a 1080, but a little math should get there.

Is there any way to adjust the height of the old MFT to the new MFT 3?
