New One Time Tool - Woodpeckers GB225 Guage Block(pocket set up square)

I like the embedded magnets on the Bridge City tool. That would make it stick firmly to cast iron tool surfaces.

The old GB225 rather reminds me of the closet rod brackets I fabricated for the loft closet... [doh]

Those are slick Cheese.  Can I ask what the two smaller holes are for?

Just for looks...those are actually two different sized holes chosen to balance the area of the triangle because there is more real estate on the bottom.  [smile]

Ordered mine yesterday and got a USPS shipping number today!

Jack

PS, I have a lot of red stuff and this is by and away the quickest shipment for a 1 time tool! Unfortunately the dowel maker that was to ship this month has been pushed back to July ;-9

Two things -
1)  Finally, a OTT that doesn't require a half-year wait
2)  Wish I could get it without the box (completely useless to me) and pay like $10 less.

On their website today it's listed for sale with or without the case. Looks as if they listened to you as without a case it's $10 cheaper!

Ha!
Well, I might snag it now...needed to put in an order for miscellaneous doodads at WP anyways.  I guess worse come to worse I could always use it as a snazzy closet rod holder.  [poke]

To keep that option available...you'll have to purchase 2 of them.  [poke]

Got mine today. Well made as one would expect. My guess is that there will be a larger version in the future.

I was worried about being able to see the scale when setting a saw or router height. Got the idea of adding a strip of black electrical tape at the desired height on the block. Makes it easy to see and doesn't mark up the block.

You received the GB255 today? I thought they weren't shipping until July.

Perfect three minute solution for setting leveling screws in new router table.
