Sean, are these already cut to a foot or will buying three get you one three foot long piece?

But it's only available in black.  I just ordered a couple of days ago 40 feet from elsewhere, but selected Neon Green myself.  Just thought it would look snazzier on a Festool hose.

If you go to the TechFlex website, you will see that they make different products. The Gorilla Sleeving is only available in black and is a very heavy duty flat weeve covering designed to take extreme abuse as in semi-truck hoses and things that are dragged. Not the same product at all as the colored flex.
Edit-- It is nice that Sean is selling it in shorter lengths as it normally is sold in long rolls - 50 to 100 feet.

Now I may have wished I would have waited.  I'll have to see how good the one I ordered is when it arrives.  Hope it's not Kleenex grade compared to the Gorilla brand/make.  [unsure]
It is probably like this

and it is suitable for the purpose. I have been using mine for 4 years now

I thiiiiink there is enough space to run a plug it cord in the sleeve when using a 27mm hose.  I'll check in the AM when I'm back in the store.

A little too tight to fit the ends of the plug it cord.

The way to do that is to put the small end of the plugit into the small end of the hose. Then you are only passing the hose and power cable and they fit with no problem.

Also you will want shrink wrap to hold down the ends of the sleeve.

After reading all the posts and seeing the options in this thread, I'm gonna have mom knit me a hose cover.  [big grin]

Careful, lad, she'll make you one with little pink flowers on it, or maybe an argyle pattern.

Brice, Brice, Brice....you really think I cut a 50' spool into 50 individual foot long pieces?  ;)  It's cut to length.  You choose 11' (most popular so far) then you'll get an eleven foot length.

Are you stocking the shrink wrap as well?

Last time I used a home made hose cover, it did not off the protection I am used to.

I installed this on my anti-static hose and now it isn't any more (anti-static, that is), I am getting zapped  [eek] while using my TS 55 and OF 1400. I ran the cord thru the hose & taped each end with good vinyl (green) electrical tape.

It works great for protecting the hose/cord but it is becoming annoying at least.

Anyone have any thoughts on causes/solutions?
