I haven't seen this systainer anywhere else beside toolnation web sites.
The description mentions mini systainer 3 (S76) that I cannot find anywhere.
I am guessing we will have to wait until May to find out...

Interesting find!

Looking into it, I found:

Festool Systainer³ SYS3 S 76 - 577808 (comes with dividers) - MSRP 26.10 EUR

Festool Systainer³ SYS3 S 76 TRA - 577817 (clear lid, comes with dividers) - MSRP 31.61 EUR

Festool Systainer³ SYS3 S 76 TRA UNI - 577819 (clear lid, comes with universal inlay) - MSRP 53.18 EUR

Festool Systainer³ SYS3 S 147 - 577818 (larger variant) - MSRP 34.43 EUR

So yes, new "Mini Systainers" - compatible with the older ones.

Oh, and the rack will also work with the older T-Loc Minis.

Kind regards,
Oliver

That is a cool option.  It will allow the use of minis in a regular stack.

I could see this being used for small task specific tool kits.

Or someone having a master set that includes identical small set ups to be handed out to multiple users.

More options ............... I like it.  [smile]

Neat idea, I like it. Looks like the minis go in sideways? I wonder how you get them out.

See the recess along the middle column on both sides? I think that is where you grab the Mini to "unlock" -> move up and pull out. On the left and right columns there seems to be the stop/"lock" portion, where the Mini will simply sit behind.

Kind regards,
Oliver

[member=61712]six-point socket II[/member]  Oliver, did your investigation give any idea when these are coming to market? I love that stacker box.
If the mini T-locs work in this, I will order a few of these on day one.

My information on that is the same as [member=69258]gwendal[/member] 's = Available from Mai 2024 for Germany/Europe.

Festool send a newsletter today, none of these were mentioned. So my guess is the press/news embargo on these has not yet expired. Or expiration is only a few days out. I think pictures and more details will start to trickle in soon. :)

Kind regards,
Oliver

Man, I will order that on day one.  I moved most of the stuff in my minis over to M89 organizers, and the minis have been languishing by my workbench for months.  I used to keep them in a T-Loc sys-4 or 5 with a wooden divider to carry drills, but that new box will fit into my current setup perfectly.

Gah...

It'd be easier to move my Sys Minis around if these accepted the Sys Mini III.  I have more of those than I have of the Mini I's.

The Sys Mini IIIs are a great height for boxes of screws and nails to stand on end.

I really like the idea of the Mini rack as I have twenty+,  but most of them are IIIs, 😏

Stupid question - what do you use them for ?

Had a couple but sold on. Seemed just too small and space-inefficient. Especially the IIIs (had one).

The absolute best thing about Mini-Systainers is giving your new 4-pack to your grandchildren - along with your printer and laptop which is loaded up with an Avery label template. Your only stipulation is that one label must be a red cross to indicate that it contains your first aid kit, and another one must be a circle to indicate that it contains an assortment of steel washers. Apart from that - it's their choice .........

I keep it on the van exactly how they 'designed' it. Makes me smile every time I look at it.

I keep all sorts of small size tools and associated accessories in mine.  I have a large collection of M12 Milwaukee tools that fit perfectly along with the batteries, blades and tools.  I have both of Milwaukee's die grinders, straight and 90 in a III, with batteries, wrenches, discs and dbl cut end mills.  I also have a dremel rotary like in another, again with a battery, discs, wrenches and carbide bits.  I recently bought the Milwaukee 1/2" x 18" bandfile, so it batteries and various bands (3m Cubitron belts) live in it. Life is to short to document all ny various MInis,  These either are stacked on a shelf of in the nooks and crannies of my van,

What do you guys do with all these minis? I only have two, and they are dedicated to Shaper Origin stuff.
One of them came with Plate, containing the clamps, pins, etc. The other also has a foam base that I cut to store router bits and a few collets, etc.
I don't have any actual Festool branded minis.

I use them mainly for two things: 1) designated stand-alone tool kits, 2) hardware samples.

Cat 1 is for example a highly customized 1/4" drive socket set; 3/8" drive through socket set; crimp set; cable/ zip-tie machine with consumables, label printer with consumables; (...). Depending on the needs these are small or large ones.

Cat 2 consists of only small ones, Tanos brand, clear lid, universal inlay. It's a collection of "hardware" samples so I can test drive something and don't have to solely rely on technical specs/ data sheets/ catalogs.

Kind regards,
Oliver

I could see a 4 bay variant that specifically fits the Tloc mini 3's and the larger SYS3 Minis. I haven't tried any of the minis. I think I am just going to kit out an attic systainer with some common bits and extra bits can stay in my Tough System drawers that they are already in.

Mine are a combination of Festool and Tanos, in I's and III's, some with clear lids/dividers, mostly without.

I use the I's for smaller accoutrement like an automotive interior panel pulling set, hand-held staple gun plus staples, small hot glue gun with sticks, shims, and the III's are the perfect size for OEM boxes of 3 1/2" long or smaller screws and nails, so I have one with drywall screw boxes, one with exterior construction screws, and one with interior construction screws.  I also have a few Sys-M Org 89's for screws and nails, but those are mostly for fasteners that I have fewer pieces of each.  A few other Mini IIIs have staples and brads in them until I get a Systainer for my nailers.

The Mini III labeled "Woodpecker Stuff" in the picture has my EZ-Edge corner planes in it; one chamfer, one roundover plus the two other roundover cutter sizes.  The might fit better in a Mini I, but I need to get foam for it.  I like storing them that way better than the Rack-It for now.

Haha, love this!

I‘m also very curious to see the new rack version, but have so far not been able to find any real good use for myself of the minis.

They have somehow always been too small to be really practical for tools and stuff. For example I also have the one that came with the shaper plate, but it is just cumbersome to have a separate box for a pair of clamps..

Where they shine for me is building custom toolkits for extended family members that are not really using a lot of tools. [emoji23]
For example I built this set, and am very happy with how it turned out. Target group is a 3 year old, hence the tools for tiny hands.
