We have a new site for wood snobs, focusing on ipe and other exotic wood decks. If you or someone you know lives with ipe, there's a lot of good info here.

Thanks Peter, it has been a fun project so far, and a topic that I (and apparently others) are fascinated by.

Scott,

I've restored a few Ipe decks and have them on regular maintenance plans. It's all going well, and I'm interested to see if I could learn any finer points from your membership. However, I'm having some trouble understanding what exactly I'd be paying for.

I have the Festool sanding/restoration end of it down, but I'd like a bit more information on the (bi)annual maintenance strategies. The a la carte level's description alludes to maintenance info, but I'm wondering if this is just a few articles?

I see there's a forthcoming Maintenance Manual for the Owner membership level, and I'm wondering what that has that the a la carte's maintenance information does not.

Thanks,

Noah
