New sweepstakes: Win a 90th Anniversary CXS drill! (US and Canada)

The latest major project was building all the cabinets and milling all the trim for our new home.  I used pretty much every Festool I own for this, but the ones that got the biggest workout were:  TS55EQ with CT22, CMS with OF1400, LR32 with OF1010, MFT, ETS150/3, RS2E, ETS EC150/3, Rotex RO150, Syslites (I have 5), CTMini, Kapex, CXS, T18, PDC, DF500, Vecturo, and SysRoll.

Pic is one taken during installation of Kitchen cabinets- CT Mini and Syslite made the photo.

Regards,
Gerald

I made a vacuum station to store my CT MIDI and UDD inside, with pegboard sides to hold various hoses and adapters.

Festools used:
DF500
OF1400
ETS125
MFS CT MIDI

I used the TSC55, the CXS, and a C15 to modify, assemble, and install a small flat pack kitchen cabinet for my Mother-In-Law.

Mike A.

Made a mounting adaptor for an RV Antenna.

Use the Vac-Sys vacuum clamp, CSX drill  and the Triton jigsaw

Built a support table/framework for my new n-scale model railroad layout.  Used the Kapex & CT26  to cut the legs (styles) and cross members (rails) for framework.  Used my TS75, various guide rails and MFT/3 to break down 1/2" ply for shelves and ; used my Trion PSB 300 to notch out shelving to fit around the legs.

Great fun doing this type of thing.

I built a miter saw stand with my TS 55 REQ track saw. I also made a clamp rack with my Domino 700XL. I can't remember which one I finished first.

Even more fun on the Owner's Group!

Built a round frame for a round metal relief of a tree.  The frame started out as an octagon with the pieces joined courtesy of a Domino.  That was my first ever Festool project.

I'm currently building a set of wall-hung end table using the Domino and a new ETS 150/3 EQ sander and CT 36 dust collector.  That's the subject of another post:http://festoolownersgroup.com/member-projects/night-tables-2-uses-for-a-domino/

Children's table and chairs. Plans courses of the Woodwhisper.

Tools used:
TS55
MFT/3
PS 300
OF 1400
ETS 125

Congratulations on the new baby.

What is the screen for in pic number 4 ?
Is that for the root veggies you said?
Thanks,Charlie
Why thank you sir! I'm retiring in 2 years and am going to be a stay at home dad! This will be our first child. As far as the screen, yup. Allows for circulation in the cabinet. It'll be used for potatoes and onion and that's really it. My wife just started using it this weekend and she loves it.

I've been using my Festool gear in a number of lutherie related projects lately

Routing the pickup cavity for installing some humbuckers I custom wound

And routing the slotted pegheads in two acoustic guitars I'm building - the 1010 with CT26 dust extraction means I can do this routing in my office, with no mess.

I am in the process of sanding my cedar deck using my RO150 and CT36E.  It's a big deck too!  42' x 12'

I am in the process of building my wife a sewing storage cabinet. Trying to paint everything before gluing - I would rather take a beating than paint because I am so bad at it. Have used mt fooling Festools:
Domino DF500 Q
OF1400 EQ
TS 55 EQ
MFT /3
ETS 150/5 EQ

This is still in process. First real post, hope I didn't mess anything up.

I made 8 under-bed boxes for storage and then added 2 oak drawer fronts to match the existing furniture. Used GF gel stain to color match the bed/night stands. Bed boxes couple with magnets.

TS 55: Rip oak drawer fronts to size.
Kapex: Cut oak drawer fronts and pre-cut drawer sides to length.
OF 1010 & MFS 700: Routed recess for aluminum pulls.
DF 500: Made the 8 bed boxes.
C 15: Drilled holes for the bed box wheels.
DX 93 & ETS EC 125 & MIDI: Sanded assembled bed boxes outside on the patio.
VAC Sys & ETS EC 125 & CT 22: Sanded the oak drawer fronts downstairs.

The latest project here is building some cabinets, so far used on the project is TS75, CT, domino 500, carvex and RO90.

I just used my TS55, MFT/3, and Domino to join together a few boards to use for a nail string art that I did with my wife.  Nothing fancy, but I love how the system seriously speeds things up.  I try to use the woodshop at the school I work at, and even though it is certainly well equipped, I find myself stumbling around a lot more to get things done there than in my teeny tiny shop.

Recently completed a sculpted rocker

While building a shop in our large basement, my son and I installed sheets of plywood to the block wall, in order to attach tools.  We used the CT26 for both cleaning the basement, and attaching to the sander, used to sand between coats of shellac. Also the C18 drill  to attach the boards to the block wall furring, and the RS E 2 sander to sand the plywood surface.
