I got the new sys roll hand truck today. It come in two parts which you have to assemble with six bolts.
Its all plastic construction, very light and easy to maneuver. Two big wheels at the back and smaller braked castors at the front.
I like the little draw at the bottom, its about 300mm wide by 70mm deep. Also space at the back for long levels or perhaps guide rails, have to see how to hold them in place.
Lets see how it holds up on the job!

I haven't tried it but I'm pretty sure you can. I'll check tomorrow for you jmb.

Shoot we get the cms with only a router module and now we have to wait, how long before we can buy a SYS Roll 100?
With other companies ramping up their tool and storage lines(milwaukee fuel/dewalt tough boxes),
I would think now is the time to unleash what Festool has in store?(or not in store  [smile])

I would love one of those SYS rolls', but as my stack of systainers are currently falling apart(broken nubs), im looking into stronger options.
The Dewalt tough boxes seem to fit the bill especially since I can buy a decent cart for it!

Festool if I were you I would let loose the arsenal, the sooner the better.
Im sure Maffell is also looking to chomp at the market as well.

But what do I know...

Hey MAK, could you tell me how tall the tallest part measures from the ground?  Thanks in advance!

Bob

@jmb: Yes its possible to open the lid of the top systainer.. I read it somewhere
in one of their folders.. But cant find it now..

Rick

Measurements, 1100mm overall height 600mm wide and about 450mm deep.
Yes you can open a systainer while they are sitting on it, it seems to be designed to do that.
I have put a no 4 no3 no2 and two no1 systainers on it, that comes to top of handle, about 850mm high.

Hope that helps.

So what part of rotating images 90 degrees... do you not get [poke].

Fun to see but don't see the advantage... seems like a short stack only and the US /old carts hold more and fit on my two wheeler just fine... Help  what is better about these?

Cheers,
Steve

hi mak i have the older type folds up very small but the handle was never that good, it is going in to be looked at , was about £140. how much the new one cost and does it fold up at any part , the handle looks very strong, made me think about getting one now , maybe tts u.k. will do a trade up , lol.

Hi green  it retails at £135  , my dealer gave me a bit off as its not classed as a tool, but we won't go into that. It doesn't fold up it is rigid. It is all plastic, my first impression was that it doesn't seem to be very strong but I've taken it to a job loaded it up and it held up easily. It is really easy to wheel around and pull up steps.
I am pleased with it. I am not bothered that it doesn't fold up as i leave it loaded up in my van and wheel it off quite easily.
I would recommend that you physically look and play with one before buying to make sure it suits your needs.
If you want to look at mine pm me as I'm not far from you.

That is very cool. I have be kicking around the idea of making something like that out of a 2 wheel dolly. So I could load it up with systainers roll them in the house. I guess that's what I'm going to do since they are NAINA. Thanks for showing helps to see what works.

Is that picture inside our van? Would like to see more pics of your sys racks. I am getting ready to build some for mine. Thanks agin.

thanks mak i am in London until Monday so i may take you up on the offer i have my old cart with me so would be nice to compare the build etc but the new one looks a lot sturdier, i will pm you later, thanks green.

Got mine last week from Bunnybolts ( thanks Warren)
It is very good and very lite
It makes moving my large fixed stack around with no problem at all, even dragging it up the stairs is easy
