new Tanos T-loc Sortainer and Combi systainers

Just got the Combi SYS 3 and will try to sort it out it to fit the OF1010 plus bits/gadgets. Should be a perfect combination.

I also got a kit in Dark/Anthracite but I am not too sure yet of the new Sortainer. I simply don't know what to put in them yet and the size of the trays are not really that compatible with what I need to fit in them.

hope the lower drawers can slide out from a sys-as.

Can anyone confirm if the draw in a combi unit can be opened while sitting in a SYS-AZ draw? Most of the time I access the contents with the sustainer still in the drawer.

Still waiting on my Sys 4 sort 3 delayed but really looking forward to being able to open up the monolithic systainer stack to front access.. I probably end up with at least two of the Sys4 sort 3 and 2 of the sys combis

Got my Sys 4 Sort 3, very pleased with it. I think I'd get one more, then one of each Combi 2, and 3. I'll keep job specific accessories and compatibles setup up in the Sys 4 Sort 3, and switch out the drawers and power tools and their inserts for going to jobs with a neat one box one process solution. For example mounting cabinets, art etc. with a drill in the Combi 2, bits and associated tools like measure tools small cabinet hammer a couple of boxes of fixings in the small organiser boxes. I think the Sys Combi three might be a little unhandy, so if needing more hand tools etc I'd perhaps mostly end up distributing  things between  a Sys Combi 2 and Systainer 3 or 4.

For my uses I think Sys 4 Sort 3 makes the Classic Sys Sort 4 redundant. I still really like the Classic Sys 3 Sort 6 configuration with the wide and shallow drawers, but would prefer them in a T-Loc version..

Why are these not available in the USA?  I can see items that take Underwriters Approval or other regulatory annoyances but, these are just plastic boxes - Festool USA why don't we have these?

It was reported by Festool in another thread that several new products are being announced for the U.S. in the next few weeks.  I suspect these will be part of that round of announcements.

I ordered my Sys 4 Sort 3 and it took 3 weeks before I took delivery, what a pain... So yes this is a new item, and as such it takes a while to fill the supply pipeline.

Wish I'd read this thread before ordering the 3 drawers sortainer...came today I really like it, will come in handy once I buy some divides for it. Doh!!!!

These are brilliant. I want!  [drooling]

Hah!!

The question with you is never whether you want it or not, more often it's simply "how many?" [big grin]

I got one of the 3 drawer to replace the old style 2 drawer w/ 3 small drawers. Man that 3 drawer held everything and it really helped me organise a lot better.

Plus, you know how things get hung up when ya open and close the drawers? This has a solid plastic top above each drawer so nothing gets hung up opening and closing.

The old 2 drawer sustainer got filled quickly to. Its scary getting this organised and being able to find stuff when I need them.

I'm really enjoying my new three drawer Systainer I have the old style Sys 3 Sort 4, which in a way is a little redundant, the big drawer is not as needed when combined with the new Sys 4 Sort 3, I'd recommend a combination of the old Sys 3 Sort 6 that way you have quick access to tools in a variety of thickness, plus some screws with the drawer inserts..

My mega organising stack consists of from bottom to top one sys 3 Sort 4, one Sys 4 sort 3, a Sys 4 with tool insert, and a Sys box..
on a Sys cart. I'll be expanding so i have this setup x2 is really getting me organised and being on the cart are very smooth very easy to move around..

I'll soon be ordering a Sys 3 Sort 6, and a Sys 4 sort 3 then I'll have all the elements for order order in my mobile shop..

I just ordered an additional Sys 4 Sort three and 2 of the classic 6 door sustainers. I think the new drawers are useful but for many things the thinner drawers in the classic are really a perfect size, so for now a combination of the two will be a good way to go. Only disadvantage is the Classic sortainers have to be on the bottom of the stack. slightly counterintuitive, but not a big deal..

These look sweet, for sure! No word from Festool yet on these and I expect it might be a while before we see them AINA, but I could be wrong. Smart evolution of the system. These will be a very nice addition.

I got a Tanos 3 drawer man that puppy can hold a lot of stuff.

I saw that festool had one out. I tied to buy one today. But didn't happen I'll try another dealer. ,hope they have it in stock.

Edited to leave out unnecessary dealer drama

Just ordered. Festool 3 drawer Sortainer, being delivered tomorrow. As Insais I had a Tanos one, But What can I say, I had to get. Festool one. I'm sure I can fill it up.

i thought sure festool would have had the "Combi's" available for Cristmas, i had myself half convinced that it was the big hold up....
epic failure..... [mad]

I bought a syst combi II on Ebay from guy in Miami, that I've bought from before.  They had a III also that I wish I had bought.  These are fantastic.  I put my Milwaukee impact and hammerdrill, four batteries, and Milwaukee accessory sets with room to spare.  I not sure how they got these but the backround pictures appear to come from a dealer display.  As soon as they are more available I wil be buying more.
