New to FOG + New Purchase of MFT3.

Hi, I have just become a FOG user and Festool owner. I ordered a new MFT3 from my local Festool dealer under number 495315,  Item received number 495314.
Although  Festool GB is only 213 miles away, my MFT3 took 9 days to arrive so perhaps not in stock at Festool GB and had to come from Germany hence 9 days .
Any idea what the different number means, normally a later model or modification would get a higher number not lower.  Great tool.

First, welcome tot he FOG!  I wouldn't be concerned, but I would recommend that you ask your dealer directly.  The Festool UK website has the catalog number for the MFT/3 as 495315.  The ekat catalog has it listed as 495314.  I see that in the UK the MFT/3 is only offered in the full configuration, unlike the US.

Edit:  The Festool DE site doesn't return any search results for the 314 number but does return results for the 315 number.  I admit that I didn't try to navigate the German ekat site due to rustiness of my German.

Welcome to the FOG and congrats on the new MFT/3. I've contacted my colleague in the UK to verify what's going on. I'll post again when I have a response, which may be tomorrow.
