Below are pictures of the new tools that were introduced to us.  None of this stuff is a secret to anyone but they are close up shots so you can get a better feel for it.

In order we got the VAC-SYS, PlaneX, Rule, A accessory to mount to your wall so you can coil your CT hose around it and it also has a metal rod attached to it to store sand paper, and not last but not least, the sliding router table. We also seen the new Festool level made by stabila, the new multi jet stream sanding pads and a couple accessories that will more likely never make it to the US.

Thanks for posting Dave, everyone loves to see the new goodies. I bet Warner was thrilled to see the Planex.

Yes he was..  It's an amazing tool.  It is very useful for a lot of applications you wouldn't normally think it could be used for.

Thanks for posting the pics Dave.

In the VAC-SYS photo I noticed that the label is peeling....
I guess if you take them all the way off it makes it harder for
the bad guys to know which box to steal first...

Michael,

Good eye for detail.  Apparently, new tools, same old labels (or adhesive anyway).

It was like a private showing.  Talk about a kid at a candy store - what am I talking about.  We all were.

So what other applications can it be used for?

The biggest one that made me interested was using it to finish flooring.  That may not be new to some people but I thought the planx was for Drywall guys.

so what is going to com to the USA and when? or is this another look what is cool that you can not have?

I have used the PC on floors before 60 grit and Super 90 on an old foam work well.

There were no specifics on dates or prices for any of the sneak previews we saw.

What's kinda interesting is if you look in the current catalog (updated 2/2009) on page 17, you can see a photo of a guy using what I assume is a european-spec version of the vacsys -- looks for all the world like the version we saw in End User training, except the catalog has it in orange instead of Festool green.
