I hate to break it... but Bosch' video was better. For one because it had a nice list of the contents in the description with direct time-stamp links.

Yeahh ...... not really impressed here either, slightly adapted rail, slightly adapted router ..... wait, that's it?

Thank you for the list...! It saved me from watching the video as nothing there was of interest to me.

The angle stop is nice and I think the new rail connectors might be awesome. Don't care about the other stuff either but it's nice to see some incremental improvements. Every brand does some of that. Like the *new* Bosch GCG 18v-310 is just that Bosch sells another combination of parts made by Cox.  [tongue]

There is also a new set that they said nothing about;

With yet another two screwclamps that almost nobody wants, lol.

Also; how on earth does this need a Sys3 M 137 ???  [huh] I'd say this fits perfectly fine in a M 112 (Systainer-I size)

Why can’t they include the quick lever clamps! So much faster!

Yeah, the screw clamps are already in the original FS-SYS/2 set, the LR-32 set and also Bessey's MFT clamp set. Festool had the rapid clamps in the limited edition #201311

But now also in this #577131;

Ya, this Festool video is painful to watch in its entirety.

The neat thing about the rail sticky inserts is that they're a tiny bit longer than the slot so when you insert them, the insert cups slightly and prevents the adhesive from touching the wood. You can slide the rail into position and when it's where you want it, you push down the sticky inserts and they then adhere to the wood.

This set should have included the FS-Rapid Clamp (489790) to make it truly guide rail focused.

This looks a lot like this kit 497657. Except no splitter guide and angle gauge is updated.

Are the adhesive inserts for the rail reusable for a number of cuts and if so about how many? I presume they are etc.

Curious about the rail connectors and how much better they keep the joining rails square.

As for the video I agree Festool so often seems to be in the dark when it comes to presenting their products in a more compelling fashion. Not looking for anything flashy but more informative and a contemporary form. This video feels like a US infomercial.
