New Tools Spring 2026 - Jigsaw, Quadcharger & tabless batteries

@mac sparrow I don't see anywhere in this thread or elsewhere that points to a newer version of the PowerHub. The one in the picture also looks like the version that's on sale today, doesn't it?

@Frnk no problem

@Cheese - No. The new systainer 3 power hub (the one with 4 power sockets mounted on the front) can be seen mounted directly underneath the SYS-MC in @Hawkeye0001 's first post in this thread. Thanks for your help though.
Gotcha...I missed that photo. Unfortunately, the new one looks taller than the original item.

FWIW...this is what the inside of the older one looks like. I keep the charger for the original CXS, an extra CXS battery, 10 meters of the original cord and a charger for the iPhone along with the iPhone inside and can still close the lid.
There is also enough space to put in a cord reel from a Miele vacuum which is another project down the road.

See @Hawkeye0001 's first post in this thread. It's definitely a newer systainer 3 power hub. It's got the rails on the side, it's taller, it's got the curved corners and the latest style T-Loc catch. Agreed, it hasn't been officially announced as a product yet. I was just looking for more info on it.

Looking at the specs on both the UK and DE sites for the SYS-MC 6/4 and they seem to be the same: 100-240V, 50-60Hz. The pics of the power cables on both sites are very small and do not enlarge when clicked but they look like they can be swapped.

Meaning that, for the intrepid North American Festool User, who wants to grab one in Europe, you should be able to bring it here and use a USA plug. Good to see Festool making a product that is multi-voltage.

A charging / power controller all in one would have been more broadly useful IMHO.
Well.

Take a CT MIDI or a CT 26.
Place SYS-POWERSTATION on it, connect the CT to it.
Add SYS-PH, connect.
Add SYS-MC, connect to the SYS-PH internal socket.
Add CT-VA on top.
Place the Cleaning set SYS3 437 on top to be out of the way.

Voilà!

Not saying it is cheap.

EDIT:
What I would REALLY like to see is the offspring of a CTC MIDI incest with an SCA 16 charger.

Two "SCA 24" power sources, centered on ground, give enough "oomph" to run the 36 V CTC motor at full power while allowing to charge two TBX8 packs at mostly full power even when the vac is in use. All that at a minimal space/weight cost compared to a 'vanilla' CTC MIDI. Even a dual SCA 16 power source would still work adequate for me, so maybe incest not needed and plain marriage will do? Frankenstein-ing one anyone?

Yes. I would pay €1000 for such kit without giving it a second thought. Actually, probably two of them. One would be immediately assigned domestic vac duties with a CT MINI bin.

Prices for the parts are available on Festool‘s UK website for example.
Good point.

Currently, the UK price for the CT-ASA FLX J flexible boom arm with systainer is 313 quid - which is (today) equivalent to US$426. But, if we compare prices on the UK RO150 (US$1104) and the price difference to the US RO150 at $739, there's a difference of about 33%. Perhaps this differential will apply to the US CT-ASA FLX J (whenever they decide to release it here in 2034), which means that the price could be $285. Not bad.
