Thanks @Cheese

Where on earth do you find these items? I found some more on Festool UK website. The links for the new boom arm can be purchased in 3's to extend/repair the boom arm.

Here's a video from Festool explaining the battery tech in a cheerful manner and with cheesy background music.

Ok, STOP!

I was just watching this video's first 30 seconds and noticed the "Translated with AI" at the bottom of the screen. Then noticed it was released by Festool and not Festool USA channel.

For those of you outside the USA, what language is this video in? I'm asking because, based on the names "Alexander Henzler" and "Philip Daubinger", as well as the "Natur Held" cap Alexander is wearing, I'm wondering if this was originally shot in German? I've been to Germany many times and have quite a few German friends - all of whom speak excellent English. However, none of them speak English with the American accent I'm hearing.

At first, I thought it might have just been YouTube's A.I. doing the auto-translate but there's no indication of that in the settings - and the lips are perfectly in sync with the words. This is one helluva A.I. job.

Any thoughts?

Festool International gave this reply to a comment on that video about the silly speech AI:

“We work with real customers, product trainers and engineers - not actors.

Sometimes, they are not fluent in english or don't want to speak english in front of a camera.

But they have valuable things to say, so we try to make it accessible in english.

Would you prefer German / Dutch / ... language with subtitles?

Let us know, we'll improve with every video to show you the content the way you like it the most :)

Also, Festool International gave a response to a comment asking about availability of the Cordless Domino in the USA:

“Products usually arrive in North America around six months later.

Feel free to follow our colleagues at @festool_usa to stay up to date with all the latest dates.”
