New TS75 dust port

Gents, I'm sure this is a Noob question but I bought my first Festool product the other day, TS75, but it seems to have a new dust collection toon port than previous models.  It has square bobs on the inside and outside of it vs the smooth ones I see in picture of other peoples.  Festool included a 27mm hose end with the locking grooves that works great with the port but why for a 27mm saw?  Everything I can see is that everyone recommends a 36mm hose for this saw.  So I guess I'm wondering if I just stretch my 36mm hose end ove the nobs or??????  I don't want to stretch out the 36mm hose end and the nobs have a slight can't to them that would suggest there is a hose end for the 36mm hose that has a twist lock.

Thought D36 hose will improve the DC to some degree, I would not say it is critical for the TS75.  If you have the D27 hose give it a try.

I have both 27 mm and 35 mm hoses going to my MFTs.  When connecting the 27 to the TS 75, I do see more blow-out coming from the front end of the saw than with the 35.  No big deal, neither are perfect, so when the cutting is done, disconnect hose from TS 75, switch CT off AUTO, and get rid of the dust left on the table;  I have to do this with either hose.

Thanks guys, I only have a 35mm hose.  All the new pictures from festool show some sort of short adapter hose.  No biggy it works as is

I have the same issue with my new TS55, it came with the new adapter in the box also. I got a CT36 with it and have no other festool tools yet so no issue with swapping the hose end out for the included one in the box. But as you said, all the recommendations say to use the 36mm hose with the tracksaws. 90% of my work is either mdf or particleboard based so dust extraction is high on the agenda for me. The outside of the saw's dust port also has the barbs you mentioned. I'm worried if I use the 36mm hose regularly with the TS if will permanently stretch the cuff on the hose?

The smooth dust port adapter part number is 10015824.  Unfortunately these were discontinued by Festool, so finding one will be difficult.

This is my concern also, but I guess I won't leave it hooked up and if it does stretch I can buy a new end for about $30.  Kind of silly a $800 new festool tool doesn't have a good solution out of the box.  This is my first festool tool and I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't have stayed with dewalt.
