Just to clarify are the drills are going to be offered all the time correct. The only limited time is the installers set.

The only limited time items are the Centrotec Set and the ZOBO bits.

The TXS and SysLite are regular catalog items.

Figured I'd add a little eye candy to entice you Centrotec Set fence sitters...  [poke]

Drill, bits and light are about $729.00. That will make a very nice start on paying for my new HKC next spring.

Of course I may have to deduct some for a combo Systainer sometime.

yes!! now this is an announcement! kalII and the installer set is finally back!

Brent sent me the shank diameters on the square drive.

#1=4mm
#2=5mm
#3=6mm

Kreg pocket holes are 3/8" (9mm), so we're good.  [thumbs up]

The shank diameter may enter the bore, but I believe the 4" is not long enough to prevent the chuck/Centrotec holder from rubbing the work piece. I'll check over the next few days. Of course you can use an bit holder, but you don't need the Centrotec cut to make that work.

[member=4105]tjbnwi[/member], Tom I thought about that. The standard Kreg bit is 6" if I remember correctly. Didn't go check mine. But I figured with the Centrotec chuck being smaller in diameter than a keyless chuck and the fact that less bit was in the chuck, it wouldn't be a problem. But your confirmation would be appreciated. Or, I can test in the next day or so myself down in the shop. I think my Kreg jig is still packed up from my last move since I use mostly Dominos. So I need to hunt down my jig. [wink]

I have the 4" #2 Robertson Atlas Machine bit , I'll check once I drill a pocket hole.  I do believe (from recollection) the Centrotec does rub the material.

Can I assume that these products will also be available through Canadian Dealers as well? Can I pre-order through Lee Valley or KMS or some other dealer?

Thanks

Yes, these will be available in both the US and Canada on Dec. 1.

Also for our Canadian friends, the CT MINI and MIDI will be available again on Dec. 1.

Hallelujah, midi's n mini's are back for Canada.  See our friend [member=7294]Shawn[/member] at Atlas in Toronto for that hook up.

This Centrotec Set is no different than the ones from years past... the interest level is very high. With limited quantities available, I would suggest anyone interested order one sooner rather than wait.

And, like Sean said, glad that our friends up north are getting the smaller vacs back.  [thumbs up]

No. There's only a single version of the Centrotec Set this time around.

The ZOBOs are available separately.
