Great idea!  [not worthy]

That idea alone just gave me justification to buy the Veritas set. I don't have an old MFT top but with the 20mm bit in the set I can make up a special top for my drill press. This will make clamping stuff to the drill press 100% easier.

didnt even think about it. Gets shuffled around quite a bit. It is a truly wonderful tool the vac-sys. Hard to justify the cost but once you have it you could never give it up.

As for the Veritas clamping kit, it comes with a 20mm Forstner bit for making your own work top. Love the kit, only arrived 3 days ago. Lee Valley tools to Perth Western Australia in 4 days!!!! Thats

That looks useful.  I like a sliding back fence as well and I definitely need to get dust exstracion sorted. 8)
